HELP PLEASE one of you fantastic guys.
We have had a condensing boiler fitted and have just fitted new basin and taps. When the toilet is flushed it steals the water from the hot tap and 'clonks' when the cistern is full. We changed the flush to a Flowmaster but it makes no difference. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Check the mains stop tap is open fully (then 1/2 turn clockwise).

It is quite comman and well known that a combi will only supply one tap/shower at a time - effectively. Flushing the toilet - you may see a drop in the flow rate - but not normally that bad.

You sure the cistern isn't fed from the HW side? But to be serious the "clonk" is the inlet valve NOT the flush valve. You've changed the wrong part and the inlet valve needs to be an HP one now not (as I suspect LP). Alternatively throttle back the service valve on the cistren feed a little to reduce flow rate.
