free standing baths

how does the plumbing (waste) work with free standing baths

doe they have to put the waste thru the joist?

You'll find that although the water pipes will be on display, the waste pipe will look like it is not there as the bottom of the bath will be on the floor.

Alternatively you can raise the floor
