Dry lining.

by Markie » Mon Sep 07, 2009 3:34 pm

I live in an old cornish cottage with all the problems that entails.... poor insulation, damp patches etc. I'm about to start dry lining and I was going to use some of the "foil backed bubble wrap" under the plasterboard. The "bubble wrap" has foil on both sides, and I was going to use 25x50mm tanalised battens.

Do I need to ventilate the cavity in any way?? Also any other tips/comments welcome.
