Hi,

I am building an extension at the moment, which will contain a new kitchen a bathroom and a utility room. Each of these will require extract fans or cooker hood fans. Is it better to build in a sleeve through the block/brick as I build up the walls or to core drill it afterwards.

Because of the problems of insulation in cavity when using a core drill using a sleeve is likely the best option. Plus hire of core drills is not cheap.
