Combination Boiler diverter valve

[b]My valiant eco tec pro 28 combination boiler is leaking .
I have removed the cover and narrowed it down to the diverter valve with by pass .
I would like to know if now this component needs replaceing or is there another solution with out removing it and replaceing it ???

It depends on where it is leaking from, normally buying a service kit (diaphragm, washers, O rings etc) will solve the problem, normally only a few quid.
