New Grohe Hidden Cistern - fitted but won't flush

by jsyboy » Sat Jun 02, 2007 1:53 pm

Help!

I have just finished fitting a Grohe 82cm hidden cistern with a wall hung pan, it's been a nightmare as the instructions are very hard to follow.

The cistern fills with water ok but when you press the flush button (either one of the two buttons) all that happens is a very weak flow of water comes into the pan - I'm assuming this is the flush but on the wrong setting or something.

Does anyone know what I've done wrong?

Thanks in advance

Alex.

See our project on push button cisterns and look at the troubleshooting guide in there.

Grohe Toilet Cistern

For anyone else who's done this:

All Grohe Cisterns come with a small T shaped piece in place which stops the cistern from flushing in transit - the instructions don't mention it anywhere but all you do is take it out and the cistern works fine.

Thought it was something silly like that....
