circular saw for 45% joints on skirting

by coleby » Sat Nov 28, 2009 6:03 pm

Can a circular saw do 45% joints for skirting board corners ?

I have seen some decent machines for about 80 quid in B&Q but the teeth that do the cutting on the blades looked enormous for such a cutting job.

Has anybody successfully used a circular saw for this sort of job ?

yes u can use a circular saw for 45 cuts but they can be inacurate.u can buy a true cut saw guide from screwfix that will steady the saw.if youre not that experianced with a circular saw best to just buy a mitre saw they can be cheaper and easier to use
