Removing chimney breast on one floor

by JimmyG » Wed Jan 06, 2010 9:26 am

Hi all i wish to remove a chimney breast in an upstairs bedroom in a regular 20's two story property. In the loft the chimney looks like an inverted Y conecting both the dining room and front room fireplaces.
The one above the front room which is to be removed is aprox 500mmwide and 300mm deep.
It doesn't matter if a section is left at high level its the floor space that is required.
