Kitchen Floor Tiles

by JohnnyL » Mon Jun 04, 2007 9:07 am

Bit of a DIY newbie here. I am currently fitting a new Kitchen, and where one of the old floors units has been removed, there are no tiles on the floor. Wanting to fill in the space to level up the floor. Do I use concrete, or something else.

Thanks in advance

If the floor is concrete you can use something called self levelling floor screed Johnny. This can be bought from builders merchants and you can simply follow the instructions on the bag. If the floor is timber you would be better laying a few of the same thickness tiles.
