Hello folks
I have a 7 year old house with dry lined walls.
The previous owner took out the wall between the kitchen and dining room.
A fairly crappy effort was made to reinstate the walls that remained, and a crack continues to appear where he plastered the gap between the kitchen wall and the dining room wall.
I have tried the initial polyfilla route, through to cutting out a fraction each side of the crack, inserting decorators caulk, covering with plasterboard tape and then skimming over the top - the tape remains intact but the plaster over it has a hairline crack almost as soon as it dries
I'm now thinking of 2000 grade lining paper, but maybe it will end up splitting?
Grateful for any thoughts/advice please.
