Peeling paint

by stubbalot » Mon Feb 22, 2010 11:57 am

I have used a combined primer and undercoat on a wooden door, then painted over with gloss. Now the paint is not drying in places and is easily peeled off. I think its probably due to not cleaning the door properly before the primer and undercoat, but how can I fix it now?

Thanks

that is the reason - you should really have sanded the door and given it a clean to remove all dust and grease prior to painting.

afraid there is no cure now except to sand down and do it again.
