Cloth covered wire?

by mick.n » Tue May 11, 2010 3:50 pm

Hello, i went to a local electrical supplier today to get some of this cable to renew a steam iron flex.

The woman in the shop told me that it is no longer available & once the flex is damaged you need to replace the iron. Seems a bit stupid!

Anyone know if this cable is available still?

Many thanks.

Google DIYnot same question was asked and they allow pictures and links so you can find the numerous outlets who supply this cable.

Unfortunately goggling the other link brings you straight back to this page.
