bathrrom showers

by gailkelly » Thu Jul 15, 2010 11:39 am

I have a combi boiler and last year I got a new bathrrom installed including a new shower. Shower is causing problems and I got the manufacturer out to look at it. It is an incorrect installation ie wrong shower for a combi boiler. The company who installed my bathroom are ignoring my calls and correspondance. Everything is still under gaurantee. What do I do?

If you can't get through to installer - why not take shower out and return it as faulty - get it exchanged or refunded for correct shower.

If they say exchange for same unit only - just tell them you don't accept that as it's the 3rd one you've had with same fault - lol. At least you shouldn't lose out financially

thanks for the info, I have called the installer many times but they just keep fobbing me off, saying someone will call me back. To be fair the engineer Triton showers sent - that i had to pay £68 for 5mins said it was not a fault with the shower but it was the wrong type of shower for my boiler, he also said in his experience bathroom installers will not be pleased at having to come back out and preducted i will have trouble.
After payong over £4 k for a new bathroom I am shocked by the way I have been treated.

Maybe you should go to the company as they won't be able to ignore you there.Get a refund or a replace and never contact them again.
Good luck to you
