weyroc v caberfloor

Does one have an advantage over the other?
Any installation tips?
Do either have to be glued along the joints?
What benefit would I get by laying 22mm rather than 18mm?
Cheers!

Weyroc manufactured by Egger and Caberfloor manufactured by Norbord are both made to European standard EN300 so are pretty much identical.

22mm allows greater joist span than 18mm.

All types of P5 chipboard flooring should be glued at the tongue and groove with an adhesive recommended by the flooring manufacturer.

Norbord has detailed installation instructions in the Caberfloor brochure that can be downloaded by Googleing "norbord.com/documents/Caberboard_Brochure_2009.pdf"

Weyroc product information can be found by Googleing "Egger"

Hope this helps and good luck with the floor!

Mike
