I think I have a direct water cylinder, and my problem is I have no water coming from the hot or the cold taps, the mains cold is fine but the water coming from the tanks in virtualy none. I sometimes get a sink full, and the water that does come is hot, but when they run out the hot and cold in the bathroom both run out together, can anyone help????

check there is water in your cwsc in loft, if not then faulty float valve
