Fibre glass water tank

by ollytheowl » Sun May 08, 2011 5:43 pm

Hello

Have installed a combination boiler and have no need for the water tank in the loft. A room has been built in to the loft and the available gap is too small to get the old fibre galss water tank out. I need the space for storage. How to break up the water tank?

Get yourself a blade suitable or cutting sheet metal for your jigsaw. It will fly through it in a few minutes.
The reason I say a blade for metal is because a blade for fibreglass is around £15, and the one for sheet metal will be nearer £3.
