cast iron bath - leaking trap

by smell » Thu Jun 21, 2007 1:39 pm

our cast iron bath has a leaky trap underneath. We've replaced it twice and to no avail. It seems we can't get a flush fix to the underneath of bath and this is where it leaks. Any hints or suggestions? many thanks

Check it is the trap that is leaking and not the waste grate. Make sure the rubber seals are on the trap, and that its not cross threaded.

Can't think of any other reason why it shouldn't make a water tight seal
