Speedfit Flexi Tap Connectors

by shadow_scoob » Wed Jul 20, 2011 11:07 am

I am looking to purchase some speedfit flexi tap connectors but I can only see 15mm to 1/2". Does this mean that the tap connector ends are always 1/2", I just expected the tap end to be 15mm as well.

Thanks

Steve

@ shadow_scoob

If you are looking to connect to a basin tap, then the connection will be 1/2" at the tap and 15mm at the pipework.

Historically, the thread is an imperial measurement and the pipe is now metric.

If you are connecting to a bath tap, the tap connector will be 3/4".

Hi
Sink and basin taps are nearly always half inch and bath taps three quarter inch.
