Damp around the Walls

by Orkatec » Sun Jul 31, 2011 11:38 am

I have an old cottage which previously had a concrete slap poured on a DPM
the problem is the slab is not all the way to the walls.
Also I have removed an internal wall which has no DPM so there is a gap.
Is it possible to fill in round the walls and the gap or is it best to do the whole floor again.

Regards Lucy

you can fill in it, cut more polythene and seal it with duct tape to the existing dpm then concrete.
