i think i should be ok ... but its good to be reassured (or not) by the experts ...
i want to relocate my hot water cylinder to the loft ... creating some space on the landing
i am ok with all the physical plumbing etc but want to be confident i will still have flow/pressure etc with the hot water
my plan is to lift the cold water storage tank approx 1.5m (i've got room) and then relocate the hot water cylinder below it, but in the loft area.
this will reduce the head between the cold and hot tanks but my thinking is that it will increase the overall head to the sytem (giving more pressure) and providing there is a differential between cold and hot then it will top up as hot water is used
the hot and cold should both be equal (so ok for mixers etc) as both are governed by the head at the cold water storage
am i right or am i missing the obvious ?
any help much appreciated !
