High pressure tap on low pressure system

by Variable » Mon Jul 02, 2007 10:14 pm

Hello again,

I am thinking of fitting a pullout spray tap on our kitchen sink. the ones I have seen so far indicate that they should only be fitted to a high pressure system. As ours is low pressure (gravity fed hot water) what would happen if the kind of tap I mentioned above was fitted?
I imagine the flow of the hot water would be very slow. would this be the case?

Yes - unless you drove it with something like a shower pump.
