condensation in cellar / laundry room

by drogo » Sat Jul 07, 2007 7:24 pm

Hi,

have recently converted our cellar into a laundry room. It's about 16 ' x 5'
with no ventilation. The dryer is vented to a mushroom capped exterior outlet but the condensation is terrible, everything covered in moisture / water when dryer is on. A dehumidifier works but is very expensive to run! Any suggestions welcome........

many thanks,

drogo

assuming you have a normal dryer, you need a self condensing dryer.
