I'm struggling to find a connector for my solar panel hot water cylinder secondary indirect coil.

The coil has a 22mm male connector sticking through the insulation.

Ideally I would like a 22mm elbow female connector that connects to the cylinder and at the other end a 22mm connector that allows me to connect a 22mm pipe. Compression or pushfit rather than solder would suit me better.

The only ones I can find on the internet are 22mm x Imperial. E.g. 22mm x 1inch.

Does anyone have any ideas?

My guess is the thread on the cylinder is 3/4" BSP (it usually is) so you need a connector with a female thread to 22mm compression.

Search the Screwfix website for part number 85401.

There is no such thing as a 22mm thread. Either the tank has an imperial thread or as in cases such as Gledhill cylinders then the fitting is actually a 22mm compression fitting that fits directly to copper pipe.

The tank is a Gledhill tank and I've checked the thread with a 22mm nut. Is it a case of feeding a length of 22mm copper into tank connector, putting an olive on and tightening it all up?

Yes, the Gledhill cylinder has a compression fitting as standard. It should come supplied with the nut and olive. Maybe they have become lost??

With a nut and olive you should be able to connect the pipe directly to the tank flange.
