drylining over woodchip wallpaper

by dicky123 » Sun Jun 17, 2012 6:39 pm

Hi there I have woodchip wallpaper on two walls of my utility room that is prooving impossible to remove. I was wandering is it possible to plaster board over the top of the wallpaper to create a new sound surface to plaster or paint directly either using wood batten or by sticking it?
this is my first home and want to try and do things properly.
any ideas would be great thanks.
