I own a house in Bulgaria and I have had to move the position of the fuse box and replace with a new "Trip Switch" box. There are approx 12 pairs of wires that need to be extended to reach the new box. Is crimping with the correct size of crimping terminals the best way of joining these wires to new lengths of wire or is there a better way? Thanks Steve

Crimping with good quality ratchet, crimps are sized for cable and heat shrinking joint.
This will give good contact of conductors joined and the heat shrink will help support and maintain the joint, from any additional stress.

Thanks for your reply. I have just returned from the house and have found that the wiring used is all 4mm solid cable. I thought about using wago terminal connectors but all the info suggests that they can only be used up to 4mm stranded and 2.5mm solid. So are 4mm crimp connectors the only option?

The wiring is being extended by approx 2 feet. Thanks. Steve
