Hi
I have a solid brick wall with sand/cement external render on a bungalow and am looking to externally insulate.
Architect has suggested fixing timber battens to the outside then Triso Super10+ stapled to battens then another set of battens sandwiching the insulation followed by expanded metal lath to take carry a render. This will give a gap between the new render and the triso and a gap between the triso and the existing render wall.
Any thoughts on this set up?
