Replacing an External Shed - Planning Permission Needed?

by russellfl » Thu Mar 13, 2014 3:33 pm

Hi,
I have an old wooden 10feet x 8feet shed thats falling to bits. It runs alongside my bungalow and doesn't extend past the building line. i would like to replace it with a metal shed 17feet x 10feet. It would sit on slabs and though larger it still wouldn't extend past the building line. Do you think I would need planning or building regs for this?

Cheers

bit of a grey area, As a shed is classed as a temporary structure, but the size is bigger than normal, just give the planning officer a ring to be sure, better safe than sorry
