Refinishing Bed - What to Use and How to Match Colour?

I'd like to remove a few scratches on my bed and refinish (if that's the coirrect word)

but unsure what to use and how to match with current colour?

I'm afraid there are no magic tricks here. You need to sand down an area of the timber which is not so obvious with some fine grit paper and try different shades of stain or stain/varnish until you get the right one. The odds on matching the colour perfectly are very small and in all honesty it is often quicker to do the whole lot a colour which you feelis close to the one you want.
