I have recently refitted the guttering of my neighbours and my shared flat roof. However the old steel downpipe (approx 68mm) only fits a 68mm plastic downpipe coupler when the coupler is turned upside down. This leads to leakage onto my neighbours paving.
The old steel downpipe is embedded in concrete and runs straight into the drain (on the p!ssing neighbours side) hence my wanting the join the two together.
I am aware of rubber glands with jubilee clips that you can get for joining soil stacks together, does anyone know of a similar gland for a 68 mm downpipe? Is there any other solution?
Temporarily I have applied some sealant on the plastic coupler but I doubt this will hold.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
