Hi.
I have a high stairwell, papered with textured wallpaper. I would like to use embossed brick effect wallpaper in this area. Given that the new paper has a rough brick look can I apply this directly onto the old paper?

No, please don't attempt this, you'll have all sorts of problems. Strip off the old, prepare the walls, and hang the new. Do the job properly !

Thanks Poptech.You seem 100% on that. Shame, it's a light texture, and a really big area to strip. Best get to it I guess, it's not going to strip it's self. Thanks again.
