Can you Join a Flexible DPM to an Existing Slate DPM?

by trapdoor » Sat Jun 13, 2015 2:33 pm

I am installing a down stairs toilet, unfortunatly I've had to smash through the slate damp course to get the fall on the soil pipe. I'm now left with a hole which I'm going to patch up but before I fill it I want to put a flexible DPM along the bottom, Any Ideas on what to use to marry it into the slate?

Why not buy some more slates and rebuild the dpc?
If the new plastic soil pipe is in line with the original dpc, just terminate the slates on either side, after all, the pipe itself is plastic.
