How to Buffer Cold Air From Draughty Vents in Apartement

by Heisenberg » Wed Mar 02, 2016 4:43 pm

Dear all,

I have a bit of a dilemma with my air vents in my apartment, see attached.

They let a lot of cold air through. I have tried blocking the vents but that causes a lack of fresh air and then encourages mould (not good).

I suffer from respiratory problems i.e. sinus problems and asthma. The cold air in the winter makes these problems a million times worse.

Is there a way to buffer the cold air or any other trick that anyone knows of?

Many thanks.

Hi I am not familiar with this particular brand of vent , but i think they should be adjustable. Would it be possible that there is a part of grill missing from external side. You could email the manufacturer directly for advice.
