LEVELING A FLOOR

by diy novice » Tue Aug 14, 2007 12:34 pm

hi, i'm in need of a little advice concerning my washouse floor. the floor is concrete but needs leveling. There is a difference of about 70mm from the high point to the low point. Is it possible to lay some type of screed to form a rough level and then use a self leveling compound on top of that to form a flat level surface. If so do i need to use any bonding agents at any stage. It is going to be a bedroom so the floor will be carpeted. Any help will be greatly appreciated. CHEERS
