Pipes give constantly sound as if they are filling up!

by carlos » Wed Aug 15, 2007 7:06 pm

At my friends house in his down stairs bathroom there is a constant annoying sound coming off the pipes under the bath. It sounds as if the hot water pipes are filling up. It sound exactly like a cistern filling up.
The hot water is supplied from a combi boiler and the central heating circuit is fed seperatly from an unvented tank in the garage. I have checked the water pressure on boiler and coming from the bath taps and both seem fine. I really haven't got a clue!

If any one could help me as i am determinded to know the cause.

Thanks Carl.
