My loft is newly converted and today was completely plastered - bedroom and bathroom, and external and internal walls around new staircase. I was informed that I should wait for four weeks before decorating to allow the plaster to dry and "settle". Is this right? And can I accelerate the process? There will be radiators in the new areas, and I can pop in fan heaters if that would help? Just concerned I don't a) damage plaster by trying to move too quickly or b) wait a month for no good reason!
