Hi all, we live in a cottage which has been renovated several times. The entrance hall is only 7' from floor to ceiling, we could live with it except that we are planning on doing a double extension which would mean we will have issues with head height and the stairs.
My question is, what would need to go into raising the ceiling 1' so that the floor matches up to the rest of the floor level upstairs (all other floors have already been raised)
