Hi All
I am in the process of stripping out the hallway for a total redecoration. As I have to remove the radiator we decided it might be nice to replace it with an up to date one. The problem is that it has microbore 10mm I think and both pipes go into one end of the radiator. I understand that one of the pipes is essentially extended into the radiator from the valve to enable circulation. Has anyone here had experience with having to replace a rad of this sort. What is the lightly hood of finding a rad that will allow the pipe to be extended into it, is this plausible? Or can I find a connector for the microbore and extend it behind a new rad and connect it to the other end and still be able to fit a drain plug as shown in the pics.
Sorry for the many questions but this is my first venture in the plumbing / heating side of DIY.
Thanks
