Gas Safe Advice Required for Campervan Project

by BlueCoralVans » Thu Mar 30, 2017 5:19 pm

Good afternoon everyone, I have fitted gas into my campervan using high pressure gas pipe, I am now questioning myself as to whether I should have used copper tubing.

Everyone seems to interpret the standards differently.

I have a gas locker that will house two 4.5kg butane bottles. It will be a sealed locker that will meet the twenty minute burn standard. I will have a master switch to the van interior so it can be shut off. The bottle feeds a 4 way manifold which in turn feeds the fridge, job, oven and water heater. All of which can be shut off by the manifold.

Any thoughts will be gratefully received.
