I can see from your site the sizes etc for floor joists, however could someone explain how the timbers should be fixed without using joist hangers, it is for a suspended floor in my barn approx 4m square resting on 8x4 and 6x4 supports around the edge, should I use noggins from the same size material of the joists ie. 8x2 and how often and at what size centres etc... grateful fo any advise before I order materials
