Our hall has been lined with wetroom panels of a good quality (made in Edinburgh) and our joiner has installed three fixings for a length of wood to be secured to this. The wood we were going to use is a length of skirting 900mm long. However, we have a concern that the screws to take the coat hooks will be too long and go through the skirting length.
What length and size of screw would one use to secure double hooks capable of taking four heavy and likely wet jackets or coats? We need this info to work out what size of timber to substitute for the skirting.
Thanks in advance
