Hi, some advice please (little blonde lady needs help) now the overnight system of my hot water keeps overheating. Initially, I heard the water boiling through the night, even though it's set to about 40° on the thermostat? I called out a plumbing co. who replaced the thermostat but the problem reoccurred. I called the same co. Out who said it's because of the lime scale in the tank (even though the tanks only three years old) it keeps blowing the thermostat. But I'm now using the '24' hour switch and that isn't blowing. So I don't know if the co. Just want me to buy a new boiler? Any advice appreciated, thanks Claire.
