I have been out to a recently built conservatory built on the back of a house, the roof rises to a centre apex and is natural slate finished to the wall, the wall is rendered cob & stone, the flashing that has been install is one piece app' 1.3m in length, it is fixed into the render and folds down and under the slate, and above the batons, this all looks good and well done, however there is a definite leak down the wall when it rains!!
First question. Is this an acceptable way to do the flashing or should it have been done with separate soakers?
Question 2, could I leave everything as is and fix a second (one piece) flashing over the top of the slates, or is my only option to remove the ridge and slates and redo all the flashing with individual soakers?
Thank you.
