Small Red Brick Retaining wall for Small Shed All manner of questions and solutions to problems and issues surrounding the subject of brickwork, blockwork and stonework

Hi,

I'm about to build a small (about 300mm above ground level) red brick wall to retain the soil so that I have a level surface for building a 3.6m x 2.4m shed. I'm using old bricks reclaimed from our Victorian house. Just wondering what sort of foundation and drainage would be required and how wide I should build the wall?
