I am planning to replace a flat garage roof which is presently supported by 4 concrete joist.
I want to add wood joist of 7x2 inches across the 9foot 4 ins.width of the garage,topped with 18mm.osb board and possibly corotile finish.
The joist will I assume rest on top of the existing walls secured by heavy duty twist straps.
I am concerned that the joist will increase the garages height and as the garage is at the edge of my garden adjoining two neighbouring properties may be an issue.
I would be grateful for any help in doing all this.
