Im currently looking at a kitchen refit and moving the electric cooker onto a different wall but as this would be away from the original power supply and ring main and on the new wall only having a normal wall socket would this be durable with new 6mm cable into an additional fuse box

Sorry, I do not quite understand what you want to do. (Other than move the cooker)

When you move a cooker, you can do so by extending its cable with the same size cable, and a suitably sized junction box. This junction box cannot be hidden. (And is somewhat obtrusive, since it has to be able to carry 30A)

The best option would be to install a new 6mm cable from the new cooker position back to the consumers unit, disconnect the existing cable, and connect the new cable. (Testing is a foregone conclusion)

Thanks for the reply the new position would mean i might not be able to have it directly connected to the ring main as at the moment only power supply is a normal double socket.

You can not connect a "full size" electric cooker to a ring main. As I said, your best option would be to install a new 6mm cable, from the new position to the consumers unit.
