Level Concrete Floor and Adding in DPC

by Jawilba » Sat Jul 27, 2019 6:05 pm

I'm in the process of renovating my house have have removed two internal walls. This has left me with about a 2 inch trench where the walls once were. Under the walls there was some kind of damp proof membrane.

The damp proofing doesn't extend under the rest of the floor it's just where the base of the walls were. The dpm was damaged when taking the wall down but I'm wondering if this is required or if I can just fill the trench to level with the rest of the floor. Also what would be the best mix to fill with.

Thanks
