I have a 2 way pull cord which is used for lights in living room.
I want to change this to a 1 way normal light switch
Is this possible

Yes it is possible to change a 2 way pull cord switch to a one way plate switch.
I would however point out that ideally, you should chase out the wall for the cable for the new switch.
The wiring configuration will determine what the next stage is and if the other 2 way switch can easily be removed, but since there are no pictures I can not say any more.
