New Light Switch

by bigdp » Fri Sep 07, 2007 7:36 pm

i have just bought a new light fitting and need help.
my old fitting is connected to the ceiling using live, neautral and earth wires and works no problem.
my new fitting has two seperate earth wires, 1 earth wire is on the bracket that the fitting attaches to on the ceiling and the other earth wire is on the round casing that goes against the ceiling.
what do i have to do with the earth wires as i have 1 extra.

thanks

Simply join them all together and connect them to the wiring earth via a term block.
