The felt under the roofing tiles is breaking up. Lots of holes have developed. I do not want to go to the expense of having the whole roof replaced. I am looking to find a cheaper more DIY solution.
There is no ingress of water, just dirt blowing in. I was thinking of fixing polystyrene boarding between each section.
Is it a good idea. If not what about boarding it with thin chipboard across the rafters.
