Hi, 1st post so be gentle please :)
I have a very old Baxi Bermuda back boiler in my house, and the pump is making a squeaking sound. It does it every year and I normally turn the screw on the pump slightly and it settles down, but this year the screw crumbled apart when I tried to turn it.
The pump is very old too, the phone number on it doesn't have the correct amount of digits haha.
I'm just looking for some advice on sourcing another pump and rough costs to fit, is it £1000 or £100 job really. I've found this one on ebay but not sure if it's a like for like replacement.
Please help as the squeaking is driving me nuts, it's like torture by sound!
Thanks in advance.
